Farewell to Haraldur Diego, chairman AOPA Iceland
It is with great sadness that we received the news that Haraldur Diego, President of AOPA Ice- land, has died in a plane crash in Iceland. We are extremely shocked by the news and our thoughts go out to his family and friends and es- pecially to his wife Gunnur and three children. Haraldur was very involved in the activities of IAOPA Europe. We have fond memories of Haral- dur when he accompanied us on a flight across the southern island of New Zealand during IAOPA’s World Assembly in 2018.
